Talent recognition

Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, a global market leader in the field of strategic consulting, has recently launched a recruitment campaign aimed at hiring ten Business Analysts for its Italian division.

The recruiting process is aimed at Economics and Engineering graduates from top universities who have excellent grades, a range of extracurricular interests and a multicultural outlook, which has ideally been developed on an international level. The ten chosen candidates will embark on a career track that begins with a 3-6 month internship at one of Roland Berger’s European offices. At the end of the internship the rate of success is extremely high and the intern will normally stay on at the company as a Business Analyst. This brings the prospect of participating in an intense training programme with particular attention paid to honing skills in areas such as problem solving, strategic project management, interpersonal relationships and communication, as well as reinforcing the extremely high standards of confidentiality and professional ethics expected.

The top 25% of candidates from each cohort, measured in terms of performance and potential, will be offered all expenses paid sponsorship for an international MBA at business schools such as SDA Bocconi, INSEAD, IESE and the London Business School, and the prospect of being promoted to Consultant level after graduation. Starting salaries are calculated according to experience and potential, but are nevertheless amongst the most competitive in the field.

Roland Berger Italia also recruits the finest MBA talent directly from top graduate programmes. To this end, the company has an international team dedicated exclusively to scouting at leading business schools.

The talented individuals who join Roland Berger know they are joining a team where the international dimension prevails over the local, and the company has been incredibly pleased to note that this initiative by the Italian division – which has enjoyed an average annual growth of 40% over the last three years – is meeting with great interest, confirming that talented young Italians still have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and an exceptional challenge-oriented outlook. Also noteworthy is the fact that candidates from other countries are applying, too: a talented individual has – above all else – an international profile and a natural predisposition towards considering Europe to be the new domestic market.
